Mustard plaster

Required material

1 tbsp mustard seeds

1 litre boiling water

Linen or cotton cloth

1 towel and/or blanket

Application

Add 1 tablespoon of mustard seeds to 1 litre of boiling water. Dip a linen or cotton cloth the size of a hand towel in the water, wring out, fold and place on the chest.

Make sure to test the temperature first against your forearm. Put a dry towel and/or blanket over this moist cloth.

How long: Check the redness of the skin after 2 minutes: if it's not too bad and the plaster is found to be pleasant, leave for a total of 5 to 10 minutes.
