1 - 2 tsp St. John’s wort
150 ml boiling water
Pour the boiling water over 1 to 2 teaspoons St. John's wort and leave to infuse for approx. 10 minutes.
St. John’s wort tea can help for mild depression or dysphoria.
Regularly drink 1 to 2 cups of fresh tea in the morning and the evening. The tea must be drunk regularly for several weeks to have the required effect.
Light-skinned people who use St. John's wort preparations can have a stronger reaction to sunlight, which presents as inflamed skin similar to sunburn in the areas that were exposed to strong sunlight.
Don’t use if you're taking the following medication:
- Hormonal contraceptives (the pill)
