Cooling neck wrap

For a cooling effect, spread quark (approx. 200-500g) on a cloth, fold in the edges and place on the neck. Leave on for about 20 minutes and repeat several times a day if need be.

The cool quark acts as a decongestant, is anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and pleasantly cooling.

When to see a doctor?

Sore throats usually subside after 1 or 2 days and should disappear completely after about a week. If this isn't the case and high fever, shortness of breath or severe difficulty in swallowing are also experienced, it's advisable to see a doctor. Also when children complain of very sore throats.
